The basics

I am totally confused with PS4. I am not following the logic of adding new pages or news items. Attaching a screen shot from inside the admin and what the page looks like. I have several news articles (I think) but only the original 2 are showing up.

The logic isn't clear how this system works.

Things I want to accomplish include a custom mega menu, a fat footer, and control over the design... but until I understand the system, I'm not going to be able to do it.

I created a custom template, opened up the css in DW and made some changes to box radius etc.

I've watched the videos. Is there any map of how the templates work?

thanks

To add a news articles, hover over the News and click the + green button and type the name of the new Article.

The home page shows only the first two, but you can change that number in the webassist/plugins/cms_templates/news.php

Ah...that is what is missing. Is there some more complete documentation somewhere for managing the cart.

Thanks for the help.

if (!isset($newsArticles)) {
$newsArticles = 5;

uploaded from cms area but it didn't affect page, so I am guessing that I still don't understand what to do in the add news area.... I am just missing something basic with how this works.

It seems from the screen shot you are not clicking the Green + button next to news and instead you are clicking the Add Content button. If you want to add more articles, click the green + button next to News. So you will have something like this:

News
- Article 1
- Article 2
- Article 3

When you click the Add Content button you are actually adding a region to the page, and you will need to modify the page to show that region.
