DFP tutorial doesn't match my screen

I'm trying to follow the tutorial PDF "Adding Digital File Pro to DataAssist Insert and Update Pages." It works as expected for the "Insert.php" pages, but when I get to the "Update.php" pages everything falls apart, and as a result my Insert pages work fine and the Update pages always fail. On page 4 of the PDF (see attached, Picture 8.png), step 20 says "From the Server Behaviors panel, double-click on the Update Record option, but I don't have such an option in my server behavior panel (see attached, Picture 5.png). I also attached screen caps of other related screens (Picture 6.png & Picture 7.png).

I am so tired of these problems with WebAssist products. If I didn't have almost a thousand dollars invested in your buggy software I would drop it like a hot potato. Instead I'm stuck continually submitting these Posts in "hope" that someday I get an website actually functional...

Have you tried closing Dreamweaver and deleting the cache file from the users configuration folder:
common_installation_issues.pdf

Sometimes the server behaviors will not display in the Server Behaviors panel if the code for that server behavior is edited by hand, can you send a copy of your update page so i can look at the code to see why the update record behavior is not appearing in the server behaviors panel.

Attaching "bad" Update file

"Have you tried closing Dreamweaver and deleting the cache file"
YES, in fact I've done that several times (as suggested by other WA support folks because of problems I've had with eCart and dataAssist). I've also deleted all my WA extensions and reinstalled them several times (getting to be a real time consuming pain in the neck).
Attached is one of the many "items_Update.php" files I've created (none of which actually "update"...)
