mobile devices

As a newbie trying to learn how to do mobile device site designs, I'm looking for anything to shorten the curve. I haven't seen anything out there yet. A few articles, but nothing comprehensive yet. Sure would be nice if there was a solution to download and learn from.

Thanks for the consideration.

neilo

Maybe not quite what you're after, but there is a WebAssist roadmap document: 'Designing for the iPhone' which might be worth having for reference.

That has some info,(iphone specific) but not exactly what I need to learn I am guessing. My research shows so many answers on what to do for all devices, and I am getting mixed messages. Is it a js redirect? a http_user_agent? a php script?? too many ideas out there.

I am seeking a dumbed down 1, 2, 3 explanation of what to do, preferably within the DW environment.

Ideally, a set of files to learn from, see the code, "get" it ... that would be optimum.

I've learned a lot over the last few days, but it is so contradictory, it really hasn't helped me get to an "ahh!" moment. :-)
