root path needs correcting

root path needs correcting

I installed Powergallery on my dedicated server, but did it before the domain name rolled over. I used my servername/~admin## as the path to upload, not the actual domain name. The gallery works great using the servername/~admin## and with the direct domain name. However, the php snippet it and the preview shows images, but that is all, no gallery. So I need to find where in the system the path exists to make a correction. I could just start over, but the client has already uploaded hundreds of photos. Can you point me in the right direction please?

Thanks, as always.

I found this:

"In order for your gallery to display within a PHP page, the page has to be stored within the same website as your PowerGallery files. For pages on other servers, it is advised that you link directly to your gallery using the link provided."

So because the path is to the server/~folder, not to the domain, it is failing. Short of reinstalling, is there a way to change the path?

I think I found it. Looking in the wa_settings in the database, I see a path to server. I am hoping that by changing that to the domain, it will work.

The solution might be worth a sticky note as I saw a lot of questions throughout the gallery forum for this issue. :-)
