Universal email 4

I have purchased Universal email 4 and am using Dreamweaver MX2004, but when I try to activate it, I get the message that I need Dreamweaver 8, have I wasted my money even though it says in the product details that it works with ALL dreamweaver, or am I doing something wrong, all I want to do is create a form for my website that you can also upload photos with.
