Changing color on "Featured Products" H4

Thread began 7/21/2010 11:03 am by paul.urgero235355 | Last modified 7/21/2010 12:51 pm by paul.urgero235355 | 912 views | 2 replies |

Changing color on "Featured Products" H4

In PS3, I'm trying to change the color of the prices on the Featured Products and Most Popular. I've been changing the H4 style, but it won't change the color of the prices.

Am I missing something?

If you just want to change the color of those two prices, without changing the H4 tags site-wide, then it would be easiest just to add the colour you want as an in-line style, i.e:

<h3>Sample Product</h3>
<h4 style="color:#C00;">$24.99</h4>

Thanks Neilo...but it didn't change anything. I even copied the CSS for H4 from the original, and replaced it. Uploaded everything and it is still not giving me any color change.

Here's the CSS from the common.css file (which is exactly as the original common.css file that came with the download of PS3):

h4 {
color: #2D6191;
font-size: 30px;
letter-spacing: 2px;
line-height: 14px;
font-style: italic;
font-family:"Times New Roman", Times, serif;

The font color in the css is blue. When I upload the CSS file, and remove the code you suggested from the index.php file, the type color is white. Go figure.

So I made the graphic in the background of the box darker, so the white type shows up. Not what I really wanted, but I don't have all day to waste on changing a silly font color.

Thanks again.
