CS5 Live Code Issue

CS5 Live Code Issue

1) My simple form, with just an email address and password has the word 'undefined' above the LOG IN title while in Live View and also on localhost browser. The word appears after <body>. It isn't part of the html code, it only appears in the browser.

2) Some of the code has a pink background.

I've made the form three times, same result each time, it also appears in CS4.

Any Ideas? Thanks, Rich

When you see undefined it usually means that a variable is being referenced that has not been defined first or a bad value is being referenced.

Could you post back with a copy of the page in a zip archive? Also, if you could include some screen shots of exactly what you are seeing so we have a good reference.

zip file attached

I just noticed the rule around "log in" heading is missing and "log in" is not in caps (see screen capture attached). This PHP file has the pink background on some of the code in the CS5 Live code view.

I have another PHP file where the heading looks ok and the pink background is not on some of the code in the live code view (but it does have the word 'undefined' in the browser and in CS5 live view). Let me know if you want to see that one too.

The undefined that you see on the page is hard coded on line 3 of the file:

php:
1: <?php require_once("WA_ValidationToolkit/WAVT_Scripts_PHP.php"); ?>

2: <?php require_once("WA_ValidationToolkit/WAVT_ValidatedForm_PHP.php"); ?>
3: undefined

You can just remove it from this line to get rid of it. If Form Builder made this page with the undefined in it there is probably a compatibility issue with CS5 for this. The current version of Form Builder is not compatible with CS5, an update is still in the works. As for the 'Log in' title I see it in the page the same as your screen shot with the 'L' capital and the rest lowercase.
