How to change the "Most Popular" item in PW3

I know the shopping cart is configured to change the most bought item automatically..
but after 17 purchases it hasn't changed...can it be manually changed?

How many products do you have added to your store? It seems that the most popular item will only be changed if you have at least 2 products.

I have 68+ items and am adding more soon...can I change the way it picks them, change it manually...?

This would require you to change the query that displays the most popular item or you could completely remove it and just change it manually if you would prefer that. How did you want the most popular product to be chosen?

Also, just to make sure, you've run through transactions and have some orders completed, is that correct?

Can you send me a link to your page so I can see the behavior?

I thought that it changed automatically by the most purchased item?
If not, do I just manually select it in Dreamweaver -save and reupload the index
file to the server?

You would have to duplicate the featured product code, but also make some modifications. Then you would have to add to the admin pages a way to set your second featured product.

Jimmy got it done, MarkyMark check out the files upload. once you select the "most popular" item in admin section it is executed , youll just have to refresh the page to view the div. also you will have to create a new records in the DB

in wa_settings create new record:
name: Most Popular
type: text
grp:None
variable:Freatured_Product2

I gave the div a class of featurePod2 and modified the css so it would look pretty (somewhat)

.featurePod2 {
float:right;
margin-right:250px;
width:328px;
}
