coupon error

Hi, I am also having an issue with the coupons.

Issue: I create a new coupon. When I try to apply the coupon to a specific product it applies the coupon to ALL products instead of the one I selected. Any thoughts? Any one else having a similar issue? Thanks in advance :)

This is not an issue that I can reproduce. Please post back and include the specific steps that you are taking when adding this coupon to the store. Also post back with info about the result that you are getting.

When I try this I'm able to add a coupon to specific items by checking the box for choose items, then when I add the coupon I'm taken to the product search page where I can search for any of the products, then on the results page I can add individual items to the coupon. What do you experience when you do it like this?

Eric, I do those exact steps as you mentioned, however, after clicking the "add to coupon" button on the product results page, I then click "Done" and return to the coupon detail page. The problem I am having is after I click "Done" and return to coupon detail it says For products: all and I can apply the coupon to every item in the store, not just the products I select. I saw the reply that someone had posted yesterday but is now deleted and was going to try that, basically a naming issue, which I believe could be the problem.

ok Eric, basically the "Add to Coupon" or "Remove from Coupon" button dont do anything.

I can "Add All" or "Remove All", but going through and individually selecting products to Add or Remove then selecting "Done" have no effect.

Appling Coupon to select Items

I am having this same problem.

I can apply the coupon to all items but can not apply it to select items.

When you are in the coupon interface with the items listed what happens when you select to add an item to the coupon or remove one? Any screen shots or additional info will help. There has not been a resolution to the previous ticket that was opened as of yet so any details you can post back with will help.

cannot apply coupon to individual products

I am having a simular problem. When I try to change from the default "All" (using Edit Products link) I get a HTTP 404 not found error.

The URL says: products_Search.php?InProcess=AddToCoupon&CouponID=3

There are three coupons in the data table ps3_coupons
There are NO coupons in the data table ps3_couponproducts

Is there supposed to be a "table view" on either of these tables?

Hi,

This issue is also related to coupons:

On the Manage Products for Coupon page, if I use the "add all" button at the top of the page, only the default product is added to the coupon. For example if the default product is size: 1, color: white then the coupon will work, however if size: 2, color: black is selected the coupon will not work.

The work around for this is to individually go through each product using the button next to the product and first click "remove from coupon" button and then click "add to coupon" button.

Please have a look into this.

elton,

I believe your issue is with the URL.

You posted:
products_Search.php?InProcess=AddToCoupon&CouponID=3

The page you need is:
Products_Search.php?InProcess=AddToCoupon&CouponID=3

Capital "P" for "Products_Search". In Dreamweaver open up the referring page and do a find and replace, find products_Search and replace with Products_Search.
