Submenus not showing properly

Submenus not showing properly

I have a page @ index.htm.

The second level menus appear not to be showing, but hovering over them in the browser, for example vocalists, it appears that the browser tries to show the sub-menus because you can see the border.

Does anybody have any idea what might be causing this? It's the first time I've used a vertical menu with CSSMW and I'm stumped. Version I'm using is 2.03 with DW CS4.

TIA

Andrew

I cannot view your page, it is asking for a username and password.

I will need to see the page to be able to investigate to find the cause of the problem.

neilo

Hi Jason, the uname and pword are just above the login boxes.

Hi Andrew,

I'm not seeing quite the effect you describe, - I am seeing a gap between the first and second levels that make it difficult to get the mouse on to the second level without the fly out disappearing.

If you give the top level menu a width of 150px in your menu.css - ul#cssmw > li > a { rule (at around line 61) or give it that width in the menuwriter edit theme interface, it would solve that problem.

But I'm still not sure if I'm understanding your problem. I've checked it in latest Firefox and IE plus IE7.

What browser are you using to view your page?

Problem solved

Hi Jason, Neil,

I solved the first problem - the script that the page linked to was incorrect - just didn't have time to repost yesterday.

The flyout problem came afterwards and am about to look at that now - will keep you posted.

Thank you for all your help.

Andrew
