Unable to Upload images to Product Catalog

I have been setting up the database in PowerStore 3 and right when I am about done
it wont let me load any new pictures for the products; I keep getting an error message
line in red color under the entry line for the image stating {Please enter a valid file (.gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png).}

I have tried resetting my internet cache, rebooting my computer, different browsers and different images to no avail...is something wrong with the database?
I have only loaded 10 different items!

The website is here : index.php

You have to be kidding

I AM AN IDIOT...I guess.....I just found out what the problem was...my file name of the png and jpeg were st.thomas.png and st.thomas.jpg............NOTICE THE . BEFORE THE EXTENSION IN THE NAME???? THAT was what screwed it up...unbelievable....

Bad luck MarkyMark,

It's always a nuisance when an unexpected period interferes with your plans.

Just wanted to mention that your site looks excellent - I wish I could steal your graphics artist.

Nice one.

Thanks so much!

Thanks so much Neilo! I appreciate that as the real deal is that the web stuff is completely new to me. I was the lead graphic artist/designer for the last 15 years at a company that just couldn't make it business wise and I finally went on my own... and am teaching myself web design which I started doing about a year and a half ago...I just dove in feet first and
it has been an unbelievable learning experience...check out this link for the latest ongoing using PowerStore...I am sure you will find it humorous!

I've just tested this behavior and verified that this does occur. I have logged a bug for this. In the meantime please upload images that don't contain additional periods. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

Hi Markymark,

Yes - I did - brilliant! I envy your design and graphic skills, they will set you apart from many competitors.

Cheers.
