Customising Powerstore 3 - Tutorials

Customising Powerstore 3 - Tutorials

Will there be any tutorials regarding customising powerstore 3 in the near future?

I am currently working on my testing server localhost, and when I modify the powerstore template (main.dwt) none of my pages seem to change/ update on the live testing server.

All I simply want to do is move the Login / Register php code from <div id="links"> to a new <div> within the header region of the page/template. I then want to put a mini/quick cart in the <div id="links"> that displays on all pages. The current default is that a link called "View Cart" only displays when you add something to the cart. I would like to have a quick cart that displays permanently on all pages. I have Ecart 5 and when i attempted to put a quick cart it messed up the page and didnt display on live testing server.

When I moved my Login / Register php code links to another div within the header region it only shows up on the main.dwt template withing dreamweaver "live View" and not on any of the pages on the site on live testing server. I see the default powerstore layout instead.

I am editing the wrong thing?

No, you are editing the right page. When you update the Template, is Dreamweaver asking your to update other pages? if yes, then you probably just need to upload the other pages to your testing server as well.
