Found this link about slimbox, which is what is used for the lightbox effect. b9609fb16e879f5d
Still not a fix unfortunately, but they indicate Chrome 2 and 4 work but some versions of 3 don't for some reason. I have used all chrome versions (including) and it has always worked for me. This is a weird bug.
