Cannot get html editor to load on server

Thread began 10/30/2009 4:18 am by jenkolaka19379118 | Last modified 11/06/2009 1:57 am by jenkolaka19379118 | 2033 views | 8 replies

Hiya jenkolaka,

Yes - this has happened to me too - so what I usually do now when I've updated HTML Editor pages/settings (although I'm not sure if it's absolutely necessary) is to delete the HTML Editor folder from the server, clear my browser cache, then upload the whole HTML Editor folder and my page with the editor instance on it again.

Probably procedural overkill, but at least I know that all the correct files are on the server! I also use an FTP program to upload when there are a lot of files to upload because it's much quicker than Dreamweaver (for some reason) and if there are errors, the error reporting is much clearer.

Glad you got it going OK.
