I just purchased mysqli. I get the error. your PHP server doesn’t MySQL module loaded ’t mysql_(p)connect function

I found this thread as I was being presented with the same error when trying to add another session value in the Authentication behaviour.

I tried to recreate the means to generate the same error but only find that in PHP 7.1 the database connection fails as shown in the attached screen grab. I could keep looking if it's important. Otherwise we have the case shown, which is a failure in PHP 7 but works just fine if I change the PHP version to 5.6.
