Existing Cart Upgrade

Originally Said By: Jason Byrnes
Do you already have an orders and order details table in your database? that will happen if the orders and order details tables you already have do not match structure of the orders and order details presets.

delete the orders and order details tables from your database, and delete the checkout pages, then rerun the wizard to recreate them.

So I see this topic is a couple of years old but, I am experiencing the SQL syntax error described. I am upgrading from an older version of eCart and already have an existing orders table of a couple of years. If I delete and recreate as described will I be able to re-import my existing order histories? And will this effect my existing admin pages? Thought this was going to be a quick deal LOL! Way under quoted my time.
