the username and password to connect to your remote database will be different to that of your local database

when you created you remote database, you will have used different credentials.

this is what you need to connect to it.

in your site, you will likely have a connections folder, this is where the file is located.

webassist have a dynamic connections app, which allows you to store the connection criteria for different hosts in a single file, however it is fairly easy to do manually.

take your existing connection file, and make a copy, save as a similar file name.

edit the copy with the correct connection settings

upload it to the remote server.

rename the file to match the original.

if you get these steps right, then it should work.
