Duplicate emails

My PowerStore is sending duplicate email notifications (2 per transaction) and duplicate payment notifications (2 per transaction), thereby making the customer think they ordered two instead of one.

What would cause this? And how do I fix it?

Maybe the wrong trigger for the email? Can I get FTP access and take a look?

I tried checking out and didn't get any repeated emails.
