Adding files and linking to them

Using Power CMS 102:

I found buttons to add images and flash files but how do I allow my client to upload PDFs and DOCs to the server and then link to them?

You should be able to add links and upload these files by highlighting the text you want to make a link and choosing the insert link button. In here set the protocol to http then browse the server to the pdf file and upload it, then select the file. This should fill in the URL part of the link.

Uploading the files

Adding links is no problem I just don't see how my client can upload DOCS and PDFs to he server. I found how to upload Flash and imaages but what button do you use to upload other types of files?

When you bring up the add link interface there should be an option to browse the server, when you go into this interface you have the ability to upload files to the server. This is where you should go to upload a file to the server. Is this how you are trying things now? If so what is the type of file you are trying to upload and what is it's size?

I'm including some screen shots of the interfaces that I have when I add a link so that you can compare them. Let me know if you are seeing something different, if so a screen shot or two would be very helpful.

Screen shot 1 is of the interface I see when I add a link, screen shot 2 is the interface I see when I click on the browse button from the first interface.
