PayPal eCommerce Toolkit

I have DW CS4, I downloaded WA PayPal eCommerce Package extension, it loaded via the Extension manager in CS4, without activating. When I attampted to insert a button I got the activation screen.

I followed the instructions from your site, typed the S/N exactly in the activation screen, I get a red X "wrong s/n", it wasn't but....

Then I located & followed your "Installing WebAssist extensions" file, copy & pasted the s/n from my downloaded orders and I get the same thing.

My account has no "activations" that can be reset, and I saw nothing like this in the forums.

I need some help, Thanks!

When you are activating the software you will get this message if the serial number is not correct, if there are no activations left you would get a different message about the number of activations available.

You should try copying and pasting the serial number in again and ensure that you do not copy any characters from around the serial number, don't worry about the dashes.

If you get the serial in correctly you should see a green check mark indicating that it is correct. Let us know if you have any further trouble with this.

Installing Paypal ToolKit for a Novice

Hello,

Your instructions are quite clear and although I think someone eluded to this same problem last year I don't understand why I can't get to the activiation

I'm at the Adobe Extension Manager screen, enabled is checked, select Dreamweaver (CS4), click install and MY DOCS window opens asking me to "Select an extension to install". I have no clue where to do from here.

I have never used Dreamweaver but this seemed as though it might be a simple form for me to incorporate into my website.

Thank you.

April

When you are installing an extension into DW you should click on the install button like you are then when you are asked to choose the file you should navigate to the extension that you have downloaded from WebAssist.com

This information and more is covered in out documents for downloading and installing that can be found on the right side of the page here:
