htmlEditor Issues

When I create the html editor. It adds ../../htmlEditor; however, I only need it to be ../htmlEditor. Goes out too far, so does not show the changes. When I load the htmlEditor fiolder where it needs to be, ../htmlEditor, html editor still does not work properly. I am trying to create the image upload feature, keeps showing as not activated. Could someone please help with this, as this happened with the IRite before as well. Thought the html editor would be better?

This is likely a problem with your site definition in Dreamweaver.

The htmlEditor folder will be created at the root of your Dreamweaver Site.

Where it is using ../../htmlEditor to link to the html editor files, this indicates the file you are applying it to is 2 folders up from the root in the Dreamweaver site.

it sounds like the Dreamweaver site definition needs to be modified to better match the remote site.

to enable image uploading, edit the HTML Editor Instance and make sure you have selected a toolbar preset that includes image upload functionality.

you also need to configure the site to allow image upload.

Go to Insert -> WebAssist -> HTML Editor -> Site Settings. This will allow to enable file management and choose an upload location.

image uploads

I have followed all the directions here and image upload does not go active. As I went through the steps mentioned I notice the upload sections were on by default anyway. What are we missing? Surely this has to be simple

To help me better understand the issue, can you please post screen shoots showing your HTML Editor settings and the image upload feature not active, this may help me understand what is wrong.
