ecart not calcutaing shipping and page resfresh is not working correctly.

In our ecart when a customer tries to purchase something, it is not calculating (or including) shipping or tax. It just sends them to authorize.net to pay for the transaction (which also does not include shipping and sales tax).

It seems like the UPS API is not being called, and lets them bypass the shipping fees. Also, the page where you enter in your billing and shipping information is program to refresh after entering your information in, but it keeps part of the old page (like the words Billing and Shipping) and overlaps them on the new page. Also there is a button (which does not work) that should not appear on the page on the bottom). Here is the link to the site. Just add anything to the cart, and proceed to checkout and you will see what I am describing.

http://jackits.com/

And the checkout page is:
http://jackits.com/checkout.php

I think part of the problem is the Javascript used to refresh the page (on the checkout page) and the UPS API.

Please look at this and let me know.

Thanks.

The shipping is not working because there is no shipping rule configured to use the UPS Quote.

open the eCart object, go to the shipping tab and create a new shipping rule as:

Triggers:
UPS Quote > 0

Calculation:
UPS Quote plus 0

as for the shipping / billing header, i edited the CSS to fix that.

Thanks Jason. Worked as you stated for the shipping & CSS. However, the sales tax rule we set up through the wizard is not calculating, similarly to how the rule for the shipping must not have applied, I assume.
We should be adding 7% sales tax to florida-only purchases & it does not seem to be working.
Also, is there a way to display to extra charges (tax & shipping) as line items on the order summary during checkout? Currently it is only displaying the subtotal & grand total. I'm pretty sure we set things up through the wizard to so that, but something has failed there.
Thanks again for your help.

I Updated the tax rule, it looks like you may have run the checkout wizard a few times, the tax rule was set to use the wrong session variable name.

I also updated the confirm cart to show the tax and shipping individually.

when you added the cart display manager the cart page, it looks like you set the taxes, shipping and other rules not to display on the 3rd step. these setting are used by the checkout wizard,
