Setting up a Dynamic Dropdown

I have created two database tables; Parent (size) and Child (color)
Followed the directions for setting up a Dynamic Dropdown and I'm getting stuck at "Populate List from Array" I'm opening my Behaviors in DW but I'm not seeing "parent" or anything listed their to select and then populate the array.
I'm sure I went wrong somewhere but cannot figure out where???
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Thanks -Jackie

before adding the populate list from array behavior, you need to add the parent and child select lists to the page.

Thank you Jason,
I did add the two list menus (parent and child), created the recordsets, created the dynamic list (for parent), applied the dynamic dropdown behaviors, then got stuck.

the select lists re not in a form.

your page does not have a form applied to it.

you need to add a form to the page, then add the select lists to the form.

Thank you Jason! I now have the challenge of getting the data from the dropdown to populate to the cart. I would like this to only populate if these items are ordered. This site allows users to order catering items, cupcakes and merchandise so ultimately we would like the dropdown data to populate into the description column of the cart. Is this possible and if so, how would we go about doing this?

I've attached what I believe to be the necessary files. Thank you for your help!

you would need to hand edit the add to cart button code after it is added to the page.

the code for the description will look like:

php:
$ATC_itemDescription = "";// column binding

change that to:

php:
$ATC_itemDescription = "".$_POST["parent"] ." ".$_POST["child"]."";// column binding

you never added the add to cart button behavior to the page you sent

i think your work flow on this page is a bit backwords

you need to add the add to cart button server behavir, then add the parent and child slect lists to the add to cart form

then you will see the code i referenced to change it.
