map does not show markers or directions even after obtaining API for domain. filled out all the info in the wizard, custom marker info, checked "Include directions" checkbox...
I do get a map that correctly displays the location - but nothing out.

This link shows an embedded google map, not a map created with Pro maps, so it's difficult to see what the problem is.

Have you seen the "Displaying Form Elements" Tutorial for adding a form for the user to enter a starting address to get direction to your destination? it is located in the Solution recipes section of the pro Maps support page:
