Wizard drop downs always select the first item- regardless of selection.

Hello,

Has anyone else run into the issue that when choosing an item from a dropdown box within a WA wizard that the first item is always selected regardless of the item chosen?

For instance in the DataAssist Recordset Paging dropdown box to select the number of rows - if I choose 20 it always selects All (the first option) then I have to redo this a second time to choose 20.

I have also seen this happen in the form tools validations when choosing the "update' action - it chooses the top choice there the first time as well.

I have not seen this issue before, I just tried to reproduce it in my system and am not abe to.

Can you provide some additional details on your OS version and Dreamweaver Version?

just to double check, have you tried deleting the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder?

Windows 7 x64 (latest updates installed) Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 (10 build 4117)

I tried deleting the cache file (that's always my go to move with these extensions) and it was no help.

This is still occuring. Another place that it happens is DA Wizard Step 3 of 7 - chosing number of recordsets to show.. always selects "All" the first time if I use the dropdown.

Any idea why?

This seams to be an issue that only occurs in Windows 7 with DW CS4. I have been able to reproduce the problem in Windows 7 CS4, but not using CS5 or on my Macintosh in any version of Dreamweaver.

It has been logged as a bug and will be looked into for a future update.
