driving directions from info window on map

I am not really having a problem, but this plugin just doesn't really make what I am trying to do a whole lot easier. I am running a site with several locations and need a map where the user can select a location and easily map directions.

Google Maps normally has the functionality where the user can click "directions" in the address bubble and enter their address for directions, rather than having to create a form on the site. See the example below:

When the map is created in Pro Maps for Google, the directions link is not there and you have to go through creating a form to gain that functionality.

Also, given the layout of my site, I found that going another route was a bit easier. Please see how I have it configured here: bookyourcourtclass.com - the maps are selectable from the drop down box on the home page.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas. If my issues are simply limitations of the plug in, then I think it is just not helpful for my application.

The functionality to request directions from the info window is not supported with the Pro Maps for Google extension. It is probably possible to add this in, but doing so would require custom coding and that kinda goes against the idea of using an extension to add in the map.

I think in a way it is self defeating to not include the functionality of adding a link for the user to enter their own starting address like it is available in the regular google maps.

Is that ever going to be added?

The only part of this that is not supported is adding in the link so that it is just like in the maps.google.com info window. You can enable driving directions with the tool, but it is up to you to create the form and any links that go to it for collecting the address from the user. if you had the form in place on the page you could craft a link and use some js to make the form visible. That would all be custom work though, but it is something that can be done.
