Same error message

Hi i have the same error message.

I have ticked 'Enable File Management' within the Global Upload Settings section, and set the folder to /uploads/

then when i click the image icon in the actual editor, then click on the upload tab, it states... "upload not available". so you don't even get the browse files form field.

The folder itself has permissions set to 777.
its on a linux server.

for file upload to work, there are 2 steps you must follow.

1) Enable file management in the global Site Settings.

2) When Applying the HTML Editor instance, either select one of the presets with file management enabled, or click the Customize button and check the Allow File Upload options.

You will also need to check the Allow Advanced Image Editing option if you wish to use the Advanced image editing functions.

following those 2 steps should get file upload working.

Sometimes making changes to the HtML editor configuration will not take effect immediately in the browser until the cache is cleared. try closing the browser, then clearing the cache and trying again.
