Getting started with Palette Picker

1. Dreamweaver CS4 or newer
   
2. WebAssist Free Tools extension installed
   - Own it.
   - Download it.
   - Learn how to install a Dreamweaver extension.

1. Open the file in Dreamweaver you want to update (or add) colors on. This may be a web page or a stylesheet.
   
2. In the main Dreamweaver menu, click WebAssist > PalettePicker
   
3. In the PalettePicker panel (which you can dock if you like), select a category you want to browse, such as Most Popular, or select tag and type in a keyword
   
4. Look for a color scheme you like
   
5. In Code view, select the area on your page you want to specify a color for.
   
6. Highlight an existing chunk of color data with your mouse that you want updated. In the example below, I've selected a color on my style sheet.
   
   
   
   
   
7. In the PalettePicker panel, click the color you want to use instead.
   
   
   
   
   
8. Notice the color get replaced in your code.
