Shipping being doubled

Shipping being doubled

For some stange reason, the shipping is total is being doubled in the store orders detail.

Paypal took correct amount and the correct amount was shown during checkout. However when loging into the user account and admin account they both show shipping total doubled.

so 3.00 shipping now shows a 6 in admin and users my account order history

Help please

what version of PowerStore are you using? Version 3 or 4?

What paypal Gateway? Paypal express? Paypal Direct Payments?

Have you made any modifications to the cart object using eCart?

Im using PS4 with paypal standard (ipn) only moded files are to change $ to £ and to paypal process file to swap currency USD to GBP so when going to paypal they show GBP not USD. Note, this error was there before currency changes

make sure you have not set up any shipping charges in your paypal account.

Where the shipping shows correctly at check out, but only shows the doubled charge on paypals side, it sounds like you have setup shipping charges directly in your paypal account.

No shipping is set on paypal. Please note, when putting items in cart and then checking out all is fine and correct amounts show. Paypal displays the correct values and takes the correct money. Its only after being sent back to the shop its hows the shipping value doubled. the doubled amount also shows on the My Account > order history. Admin also shows the doubled value. Why am i not able to submit a ticket for this? I paid my money and expect support for bugs. Please help.

After a connect meeting with Ray this is now fixed, We discovered an issue with ipn when using per-item shipping. We were able to correct this issue in a connect meeting. We'll make sure to get it into the next dot release.

in the mean time edit /webassist/plugins/shopping_cart/ipn.php find

$_SESSION["WA_Store_Cart_USPS_Quote"] = isset($_POST["mc_handling"])?$_POST["mc_handling"]:"";

and comment it out

//$_SESSION["WA_Store_Cart_USPS_Quote"] = isset($_POST["mc_handling"])?$_POST["mc_handling"]:"";
