Super Admin missing PS4

I just installed Power store 4. All went well upgrading from 3. Well all went well except my super admin username or password will not work. I have looked in the database and can only find two user groups 1 & 2. I'm kind of new to the whole database thing so I may be looking in the wrong place. can you help me get my Super admin back.
By the way I was happy to see that all my products and other info was transfered with out loss. but I need my Super Admin back
Thanks for all your help
Ron

the supper admin username and password are stored in the wa_settings table. The super Admin is the username and password you enter during the install process.

Go to your database using phpmyadmin or whatever database utility you are most familiar with and look in the wa_settings table. See if you find two rows with a value for the "name" column of "adminusername" and "adminpassword" respectively.

If they don't exist, run this queries in the database:

INSERT INTO wa_settings (name, type, options, value, grp, subcategory, cond, description, variable, weight, spry_args, spry_error, help_text) VALUES ('admin_username', 'text', '', '[username]', 'Site Settings', null, null, '', 'Admin_Username', '72.00', ', \"none\", {isRequired:true, validateOn:[\"blur\", \"change\"]}', null, 'This is the Administrative Username that should be reserved for the website developer. Only this user will be able to modify the details of the Settings page. Additional administrative accounts can be created under the \'Users\' section of the PowerStore Admin - these users will not be able to modify these settings.');

INSERT INTO wa_settings (name, type, options, value, grp, subcategory, cond, description, variable, weight, spry_args, spry_error, help_text) VALUES ('admin_password', 'text', '', '[password]', 'Site Settings', null, null, '', 'Admin_Password', '73.00', null, null, null);

This will create the two entries and you can either update the [username] and [password] in the script before running it, or log in with those values and update it from the admin.

both entrys are there but, no go

Both of the entrys are there in the database and look right, but it still will not work.

When I drect my web site to use the folder with Power store3 files in it, the admin pasword works. But if I derct my web site to the folder with the powerstore 4 files it does not. All the other users and products work just fine. just before you hit the enter key both boxes are green like it is going to work but no go.

Thanks for your help

It was happening because of an upper-cased letter in the database entry. The new installer converts everything to lowercase, so the login has been updated to as well.

The solution is to update the setting to use a username and password in all lower case, or to remove lines 19-24 in the admin/index.php page.

Thanks Ray.

¿Que es "new installer"?
Should I put that in preferentially and does it contain other changes that would be of benefit.?
