Universal Email

I'm in the process of creating an on-line application form that registered users complete and submit to my client. Once they complete the application and submit it, the information contained in the application is stored within a MySQL database.

Once the client has verified the information submitted by the applicant, they want to be able authorise the application by the click of a button and in doing so it generates 4 separate emails with differing information.

The 4 emails that are generated should use a template email, which is populated from a recordset for instance. However, each email template has slightly different content.

The idea is that the client can send 4 totally different emails using information provided on the application form at a click of a button. The email templates will be populated with standard information such as the contact name, address and Subject etc.

My questions are -

1. Can Universal Email Accommodate this and
2. if so, how are the emails stored. (I presume its the same as any other email client)

Hope that all makes sense.

Thanks

Rich

Yes, you can send multiple emails with the same submission. The emails are stored as templates in a directory and will pull information dynamically when the email is sent if you set it up that way.

That's great.

So, if the client needed to review the emails which had been sent how would they view them?

Thanks again.

What do you mean? Like view the email before having it send out?

You could have the email CCed to the client if the client just wanted to see the information that is being sent out in the emails.

If the client wants to view the information before the email is sent out, you would have to have the form submit and be stored in a database and have a page which allows the client to review the information and send out an email from that page.
