Shipping not calculated

The shipping is USPS lb. and seems as if its ignoring the weight, a shipping weight is still coming up but its $10 for nothing and then it adds $1 per product, this is not the correct pricing for shipping

I did a quick test of this on the site and found that shipping seemed to be accurate. I added the Latero-Flora to the cart first and the shipping was just over $2. I then went back and added Bee Assist Kits commercial size and the shipping came to 11.57 total. This seems correct to me. Is there a specific product or products that are returning values that seem off?

we have products that come in different weights and sizes under the same database i can change the price with the updatable drop down menu feature but this doesn't affect the weight how can i do this. Also when i add multiples of an object the shipping becomes extremely high based on the cost of what we actually pay

Since the shipping is based on the weight, number of packages, shipping locations and type. If you know that all but the weight is correct you can either directly update this in your db for certain products, or you can add to your admin back end to update this value for individual products.

Is there a test case where I can add items to the cart with particular weight values and see a bad shipping quote?
