custom cart.php and custom checkout pages

custom cart.php and custom checkout pages

I am using eCart 4. I have a couple questions:
Can I use my own cart.php and design my own buttons in foreign languages? if yes, can I use say, "checkout" button in english, "checkout" in swedish and place them in the same folder wa_ecart/images/pacifica or they should be placed in different folders?

can I build my own Checkout pages and use checkout wizard at the same time?

I need to show where customers are in the chechout process. For instance, placing a list of Cart, Address , Payment etc headings at the top and then gray say Cart to show they are at the Cart page, graying the Address heading to show they are at address page, graying the Payment heading to show they are at the payment page etc.

1) As long as both of the checkout button images have a different name, they can placed in the same folder.

2) Again, the names of the pages are the key, your custom checkout pages must created with differant names than the ones created by the checkout wizard.

3) You will have to create the checkout breadcrumbs manually.
