Display multiple list of items on one page?

Hello!

I'm considering the Power Store as an ecommerce solution. I looked throughout the site and this forum for an answer to this question and couldn't find it.

I was wondering if it was possible to display multiple items on one category page with a field for item quantity? And one add to cart button per category page? This add to cart button would add ALL of the items to the cart at once.

Essentially for each product category I want to have one page that lists all of the products for that category (we have hundreds of products ). The product list should have a field for quantity by it the customer would then go down the list line by line and input the number of products that they wanted. One add to cart button per category page. Then each category page total would be added to the cart. I would also like a breakdown of total items ordered with prices available in the shopping cart. Is this possible with Power Store?

Thanks!

Carlene

Currently that is not how power store works. With PowerStore you are able to add one product at a time, although this could be accomplished using PowerStore, it will require some custom coding to get the Add to Cart to add an entire category instead of individual products.

However, with PowerStore you do have the ability to view products in each category which are listed in the left column.

The PowerStore was not designed this way and it would require a bit of customizing to make it this way. Making these edits would require using eCart to manipulate the add to cart behavior to make it work this way. You would also need to add in some custom queries to filter the items properly before adding them to the cart. It can be done, but it will not work like this out of the box and must be customized.
