Adding products to database

Step 12 says "Click Insert to have the product added to your catalog." I do not see a button for insert, and when I hit finish at the bottom of the page, it just reloads with the same data in the tables on the screen. Please help.

Are there any fields marked in red or error messages on the page when you are trying to insert the products?

Make sure you are filling in all the fields with valid information.

for some reason

I was able to insert products as long as I did not click on (check to make this item available for sale) but my other question is now that the items are in my database, how do I link them to my menu? Do they have to be a dynamic link? I cant find any documentation on how to make this work. Thanks

Within PowerStore, it is built in to have the category in the menu, not the actual items. If the product is not live it will not be shown in the front end products. After creating the product, can you go and edit the product and check the available online checkbox and update?

help with dynamic menu

Yes I am able to add products and I understand it is by category, my problem now is how to create the dynamic menu item to display the page.

I have put in the following in CSS Menuwriter.

Connection: powerstore
Table: productcategories
Label: CategoryName
Key Column: CategoryID
Link: /Products_Results.php

When I do this don't I have to make a decleration after Products_Results.php like Products_Results.php?CategoryID=[CategoryID]

Please help I need to get my clients site live. Thank you.

The pages to display all the products is already created for you. It is also added to the sidebar of the products page so that you can browse the products. You do not need to manually add anything.
