File modified outside of Dreamweaver message...

When making changes to Universal Email or saving all my files, I get a message saying that WA_Universal_Email\WAUE_createMemberProfile.php has been modified outside of Dreamweaver. Do I want to reload it?

Why is this message showing up? I did open the file once to see what was in it, but I have since deleted the Universal Email behavior and that file is not open in DW so no idea why I keep getting the message.

By the way, should I say yes or no to the question. I assumed it was yes.

I also tried shutting down DW and then deleting the DW cache file but I still get this message.

This is fairly common and I don't think it's anything to worry about. If you edit a file with another editor while Dreamweaver has it open, it will warn you that it has an older copy by displaying this message.

Sometimes DW gets confused and thinks something has been changed outside of DW. The only time I say no is if I know I want to keep the copy that's already in DW instead of an outside change.

It can also happen if you have the file WA_Universal_Email\WAUE_createMemberProfile.php open in Dreamweaver while editing the universal Email instance.

Thanks to both of you for your answers. It turned out that I had a bunch of files open and some of the filenames were not visible without scrolling the list of files. One of them happened to be the WAUE_createMemberProfile.php file which explains why it kept asking me. Once I closed around 5 files or so I saw the file and slapped my forehead.
