Power Store2

Last night I purchase PowerStore2, and I’m now trying to understand how to integrate my database to powerstore2.
I already have a database created for my potential client with special options for sizing, colors, that has different options for pricing per size choosen. Also with other table related to the online store. What I need to know is, do you have any instruction for using my own database with powerstore2. Basically, I want to know How much of the front end I can customizable right out of the box to completely redesign it or integrate it into my existing site?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Sharach

It is designed as a solution to be used with the supplied database. If you are using your own database it would require migrating your data to the PowerStore data structure.

If you want to use your own database, you could keep the powerstore for the templates, menus, and as an example, but you would want to use the extension library to re-create the store and database manipulation.

PowerStore2

I don’t understand, do you mean, that I should use PowerStore as an example store to build my own store using eCart and other extensions. Please explain.

As you know I own just about every extension from web assist library. However, I like some of the features that PowerStore2 has and I may need help with the migration. Please advice.

Thanks

I'm suggesting that you shouldn't update anything and you should migrate your data to the Powerstore database format if you want to use PowerStore.

If you are required to keep your existing database format, then you will have to essentially build the pages from scratch but could still use powerstore as a guide.
