Tooltip removal

How can I remove the display of tooltips?

Using the Grid+Fullsize gallery as an example, open the galleries/grid_fullsize/js/gallery.js file. Do a search for new Tips, then comment out or remove that entire block of code that sets up the tips. That will prevent the tips from being shown.

Also, check out the how to on the support page for some more info on customizing a gallery: powergallery/.

Thanks

Thanks Justin, that took care of it.

You're doing a great job of responding quickly to requests, and it's clear you know the code.

Thanks, this type of support is much appreciated.

You're welcome. I wrote the code, so I know it pretty well :)

I have a somewhat similar question. Does the grid + lightbox need to have a size designated? I have a site with fluid attributes, and the div I want to place the gallery in is set to 40% width. Will I 'break' gallery if I try to set it as auto width?

Grid+Lightbox will work fine like that. Basically, each thumbnail image is floated left. What that means is it will fit as many as it can in a row, then start at the next row, and so on. So if you have a fluid page, it will work fine and adjust the grid with as many as it can fit. You'll have to remove the outer width like you said.
