Do I need to download anything more...?

Do I need to download anything more than Security Assist and Cookies before I start using security assist? (after setting up my testing server) Thank you!

The only other thing you would need is a database with a users table. You can either create your own, or sue our sample eCommerce database:

Hi - I went to the link provided and do not find where the sample database is for me to download and use....Am I misunderstanding what is being provided? It states, "Even though this database has everything you need, you can modify however you please. Add new columns or tables, or modify the ones that already exist. This database is provided for you to use however you see fit." So I am just not seeing the download link....? Thank you.

Above the Frequently Asked Questions tab, there is a large orange Download button. click this button to add it to you cart and begin the checkout process. It is a free item, so no money will be exchanged.

Once the checkout is complete, the files for the database will be added to your download center. you can Download the SQL Script to crate the database there.

I know this may sound silly, but...wherre do I put the wa_ecommerce_20091112.sql file now that I've downloaded it? I'm using XAMPP. Should I put it in each location I used for each website?

c:\xampp\htdocs\website1
c:\xampp\htdocs\website2
c:\xampp\htdocs\website3

Or does it go in a more central location? (like: c:\xampp\mysql\data)

Or a more specific folder in each site?

Or am I totally off the mark on this? AS you can see I am quite confused and very new to what I'm doing...The tutorials have been helpful, but I don't know where to put the file...Thank you for all of your help!

You dont need to save it anywhere special, you just need to install it on your mySQL server.

On database product page:
ecommerce-database/

see the Instructions link on the right hand side.
