Emails will not be deliverd to domains ending in .uk, .de or .us

Email will not send to addresses using some domains like .uk, .de or .us. For example:

joesmith@domain.uk
joesmith@domain.de
joesmith@domain.us

This behavior can be addressed by editing the WA_Universal_Email/MailFormatting_PHP.php file.

The Known Domains list is at line 24:

$knownDomsPat = "/^(com|net|org|edu|int|mil|gov|arpa|biz|aero|name|coop|info|pro|museum)$/";

any domains that are not included in this list can be added by adding a pipe character followed by the domain, for example:

$knownDomsPat = "/^(com|net|org|edu|int|mil|gov|arpa|biz|aero|name|coop|info|pro|museum|uk|de|us)$/";

plz jason what about .com.sa or .co.uk


i try to add
$knownDomsPat = "/^(com|net|org|edu|int|mil|gov|arpa|biz|aero|name|coop|info|pro|museum|sa|com.sa)$/";

but i dont receving any mail

Have you tried testing with any of the other allowed domains like a regular .com email address? Please give this a try if you have not already and let us know if you are getting emails to these domains. If so then I will take a look at the domains list to see if I can help you update it with the other domains. If you do not get the emails at one of the accepted domains then it would indicate a settings issue with the server behavior somewhere.

Hi, Having read your stick re emails not sending to .uk domains, I changed the relevant line in mailformatting.php
$knownDomsPat = "/^(com|co|uk|net|org|edu|int|mil|gov|arpa|biz|aero|name|coop|info|pro|museum)$/";

It sends to my googlemail.com account but not to my .co.uk account.

Any ideas?

Try adding in another entry like this:

co.uk

$knownDomsPat = "/^(co.uk|com|co|uk|net|org|edu|int|mil|gov|arpa|biz|aero|name|coop|info|pro|museum)$/";

See if this allows you to send the email, if you have any further problems please let us know.

Is there a complete list of domains to be added? My site is international, and I would not like anyone to not get their confirmation mail.
