Site Import not working

I get the following error: (it may not be spelt absolutely verbatim)

While executing onLoad in WA_ImportSite.htm, the following javascript error(s) occurred:

At line 184 of file "....:Applications:Adobe Dreamweaver CS4:Configuration:Commands:WA_ImportSite.js":socument.navButtons.document.btnBack has no properties

Any ideas?

There may be some sort of issue with the cache file that is being used by DW, this can cause issues like this one. Here is a link to a troubleshooting page that lists some steps you can take to try and alleviate the problem. Try deleting the cache file first and if that does not work for you proceed to rename or delete the configuration folder.

I've deleted those folders - still not working - any ideas?

Just to confirm you have deleted the cache file and that did not solve the problem so you then went and deleted the configuration folder and re-installed the extension and are getting the same error, correct?

If you can confirm that you have done both of these things and are getting the exact same error I will open a ticket for you so this issue can be looked into further.

Hi mate - Yes I've cleared the cache - and it doesn't work - I only have version 2 of Site import, does this not work with CS4?

Any ideas?

Sorry I did not catch that earlier, version 2 of Site Import is not CS4 compatible, only v3 is.

I've re-loaded CS3 and I get the same error - are we saying that loading CS4 onto your Mac destroys Site-Import v2 – even when trying to use it for version CS3?

Have you tried any of the cache file or configuration folder troubleshooting steps to see if they resolve the issue in your CS3 install? Also did you ensure to completely uninstall from your CS4? If not you might experience problems like this.

Please let us know if the issue persists even after trying these troubleshooting techniques.
