Database Recording of Form Fields

Hello:
I am trying to record form data in the database and am getting errors in PowerStore 2.0. I successfully added a DB column to the Users table using myPHPadmin. I am using CS4 and Super Suite eCart 4.5.0. I have opened confirm.php and in the Server Behaviors panel I double clicked the "eCart Store Summary in Database (users, userID)". In the Columns panel of the opened server behavior I selected my new DB column and then in the Values box I clicked the lightening bolt and seleted Customer "firstname" from WA Validated Entries (confirm.php). I did not add a redirect at the bottom. Saved and uploaded.

The data does not get entered into the DB and confirm.php fails and gives the following error:

"Warning: require_once(/WA_eCart/WA_eCart_Database_PHP.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/myusername/public_html/confirm.php on line 21

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/WA_eCart/WA_eCart_Database_PHP.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/myusername/public_html/confirm.php on line 21"

Can someone please advise as to error of my process?

Did you remember to upload the WA_eCart folder?

Hi Guy:
Thanks for the reply. Yes I did upload the WA_eCart folder.

Well, if WA_eCart_Database_PHP.php actually exists in that folder, I suspect it would have to be a owner/permissions problem.

can you post a link to your page as well as the code at line 21 of confirm.php so we can look into the cause of the error.

Hi Office Guy:
Again, thanks for the reply. The page reloads correctly until I apply the above mentioned server behavior. But just as a test I did set the permissions to full (777) on the WA_eCart folder and files and it had no effect. Additionally, I built a second store and tried the same process and got the same results.

Hi Jason:
The site is live, but not open for real orders. See www.goesgreenstore.com. Line 21 of confirm.php is:

require_once("/WA_eCart/WA_eCart_Database_PHP.php");

It does not break until I add the server behavior.

Thanks,

the require once line should be:
require_once("WA_eCart/WA_eCart_Database_PHP.php");

instead of:
require_once("/WA_eCart/WA_eCart_Database_PHP.php");

neilo

Unrelated, but for your info, the opening body tag in your user registration page has become misplaced - various styles and head objects appearing after it (<body>"&gt; )

Hi Jason:
Thank you for your reply. Removing the"/" did indeed allow the page to reload correctly and save the form field data to the DB. As this happened in two different stores, I am concerned as to why eCart wrote this incorrectly. I am on 4.5.0. Is this a known issue? Do you know what could be causing this?

Sorry, this is not a known issue.

There are many things that could be causing it. First I would look at your Site definition to make sure the settings are correct.

Look at the Local info tab, make sure the site URL is valid. Have you selected the option to Create Links relative to the Site, or Document? It should be set to Document.

Next check the Testing server settings. Is the URL Prefix valid?

4.5.0 is not the most recent version, you may want to uninstall that version from the extesnion manager and install version 4.5.2 which is available for download on the eCart download page in the download center.
