update record is deleting image names from database

When I update a text field in a record containing both an image upload field and text field, the image name is deleted from my database.

I found the issue in the forum (06-09-2009 - sorry don't know how to correctly reference the post) already and the user was told this is a bug and given a support ticket.

In the case of that support incident, they had followed the tutorial for adding Digital File pro pages to DataAssist insert and update pages.

The idea is to create a hidden form element on the update page that gets the file name from the database, that hidden form element is used in the Default File binding in Digital File Pro, have you done this? The instruction can be found in the "How to apply Digital File Pro to DataAssist Insert and Update pages " tutorial in the how To section of the DataAssist support page:

solved the problem

I did the tutorial again, but this time I cut the value for the DefaultFileName from the wizard and manually pasted in to the WA_UploadResult1_Params array. Not sure why the wizard is not automatically pasting in the value. I've replicated this behaviour several times.

After selecting the Default File, use the enter key on the keyboard before clicking the OK button to force the value to stick.
