iPad uploading images anomaly

Hi,

The CK editor is failing to upload images on iPad. The necessay dialogue box does not seem to open.

I have seen a couple of very old threads (from a decade?) so touching on this issue, although those seemed to discuss more general editing/usage issues. But it is nevertheless possible that this is entirely an issue due to Apple and the iPad.version of its Safari browser, with the CK Editor not offering proper support.

But ... ... ... might this in fact be something in WebAssist that is fixable? Or is there some CK Editor you know about I could install? I could not find one when I searched.

Otherwise, I will just have to tell my users that this aspect lacks support, and that they will have to use either an Android, Windows, or a full Mac to upload images.

Thank you,
KAB

Yeah that uses KCFinder... which is pretty old and was developed before tablets and iphones were so mainstream. I could probably help you migrate to: https://www.responsivefilemanager.com/

I'm still trying to target a quality free option to integrate into future versions since the one in there is getting outdated.

Hello,

I think I would appreciate the capability, if it is possible.

Especially if the bit that says "change the configuration for each user" means that if I have, say, 40 Presenters, I can place some form of code for them in the database or wherever, or even link to their SecurityAssist ID, so that they would then only see their own files in the directory. That would make my life WAY easier.

But so many of my Presenters have in any case gotten used to e.g. using their iPads as projection devices for slide shows, talks and presentations that it would be nice for them to continue using something they are well familiar with.

So if is a genuine possibility, I would appreciate it.

Thank you,
KAB

This is beyond the scope of what I would usually do without a premier support ticket... but I went ahead and updated that page to use the new editor since we have a long standing relationship.

Thank you very much.

But I believe I have benefitted far far more from you than you have from me.
I can only do what I can to express that

By the way, it seems to be working just fine on iPad.
Keeping my Presenters happy, since I am doing something a little unusual, will go a long long way towards my project's success
Thank you
