Can I use client AND server validation together?

Can I use client AND server validation together?

Hello all,
this is just a request for clarification.
I usually use only the HTML required option and Server side validation on my form.
I know users can disable javascript, so client side validation cannot work with javascript disabled.
But sometimes client validation is useful.
What if I use both validations? client and server together?
Is there a way to display the same error message used for server side validation (not displaying the tooltip)?
Is there a way to use both in databridge 1/2?
TIA
tony

Yes.

If you use jqvalidation, which is our latest client validation scripts, you can put your server validation messages into a <span> tag with an id tha matches this pattern: [validated field ID]_ServerError

Then it will automatically style it and position it according to your jqvalidation style. I don't know for sure if this worked in DataBridge v1, but it will certainly work with DataBridge v2.
