The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive

I set up a sandbox account with Authorize. positive that the credentials are correct. gateway credentials are entered and seen in a require on the confirm page. sandbox is live, ecart is not in sandbox mode. In the dump of the failed page I see my credentials.

Maybe there is a space in the credentials at the beginning or end. Maybe the credentials aren't live on the authorize.net account. The error seems clear, so something is wrong. I'd probably need a url to reproduce and even access to your authorize.net account to fully debug something like this.

I will double check it.

I am getting my cart they way I like it then I will schedule you to help me in two steps. First to review a working cart sequence, then to review my code after I integrate it into my website.

Ok I'll look forward to the call. I'm sure I can figure it out once I have access to the code directly.

Ray the validation response fails to show properly on a small device (phone). The dialog box is actually behind the layer. Maybe we could turn off validation or better yet have the alert show up in a div box below the field. This would negate any issue with devices. Can we schedule some time agin to fix this?

We should be able to update the css to fix this issue in any number of ways. Just contact me on Monday and I'll work through it with you.
