Nested Repeat Regions

I had created a nested repeat region before using an older version of Dataassist. Now that I'm switched the new Mysqli Behavior my nested repeat no longer works. Is there a tutorial on how to do this somewhere using mysqli recordset. I'm uploading my previous file which worked fine.

I assume the recordset queries would be the same using mysql and mysqli. My real issue is how would the code change for the beginning and ending of the nested repeat regions.

The lines that I'm mostly interested in are lines:
153-157
173
189

This should be updated automatically when you update your recordsets to MySQLi. The attached page still has MySQL recordsets. Just update those and the rest of the code should update automatically.

I replaced the old mysql recordset with the mysqli records. The values appear to be showing up but the nested repeat region isn't working still. I've uploaded the file. Thanks for all your help. When I updated the recordset it didn’t update the echo scripts, I had to do that manually.

That is odd. Did you open and edit the existing recordset? I see the repeat region wasn't properly updated as well and it should have been.

At this point I think the easiest solution would be to delete the repeat region that is on the page and then highlight the table on lines 152-194 and re-apply the mySQLi repeat region on the rsEvents table.

Then you can manually delete the mysql_free_results lines at the bottom of the page as well. Those will no longer be necessary.

I think that will do it for this page.

Did that work out? If not, just upload the latest version of the page and let me know what is still wrong and I can try to help.

I had to play around with it, but ultimately I got it to work. Nested repeat regions would be an awesome feature to add to DataAssist.
Thanks for your help.

You can nest a "Repeat Selection Improved" inside of a "Repeat Region" with our tools to get nested repeated regions working.
