Can the CAPTCHA that is used in the contact form solution pack be applied to ANY form

Can the CAPTCHA that is used in the contact form solution pack be applied to ANY form

Question ...

Can I create a form, apply my own validation rules to it, and THEN just apply the CAPTCHA image and code, like your contact form solution pack includes? I'm just having lots of trouble modifying the form, and it might be easier just to start from scratch. Hope my question makes sense.

See the "How to copy security features to your existing form" Tutorial in the How ot Section of the contact form solution pack support page:

form not working

Hi Jason,

I'm using this thread because I'm trying to use an existing form. I followed the instructions and it's not working. Here's the form: order-form.php

There was one piece that appeared to be missing from the instructions. I added this code and the form worked better but something's still wrong:

}
$WAFV_Errors = "";

Thanks for the help.

your form is set to post to /HDWForm2Mail/Form2Mail.php, the server validation code needs to be applied on the forms action page.

I noticed the same thing...

It seems to me that on page 3 number 5 under the Copying Captcha instructions are telling you to locate that code and it says "You pasted this earlier." However - the instructions to paste it earlier are nowhere to be found. I just figured that on my own after being confused by it. So perhaps someone should correct the "Copying Security Features" document?

That is referring to steps 7 - 15 on page two.

Steps 7 - 15 have you copy and past two blocks of code from the contactus.php page.

Right - but it tells you to copy another part of the code there. Not this...

}
$WAFV_Errors = "";

If you look it over carefully, you'll see what we mean.

re: form not working

1) Do I want to post the form to "WA_Globals.php" instead of "Form2Mail.php"?

2) The form I'm using was created using Form2Mail. Am I going to be able to use this and yours together?

3) I agree with Carlene about the code:
}
$WAFV_Errors = "";

You need to review your instructions.

Thanks for the help.
