When I started on my project the Webassist Database Connections window could connect to the database, and it would show the tables that were in the database. Now the connection shows no tables found.
I'm told by the host (1and1) that no external connections are allowed to MySQL, only connections from the hosting space.
Does this mean that I am forced to change hosts to use WebAssist DataBridge products?

Dreamweaver uploads a file to your server and uses that for the connection, so no remote connection is necessary. If the connection isn't working, it is most likely an issue with the testing server definition in Dreamweaver. Usually the problem is the site URL setting.
