Trouble with Universal Email

Trouble with Universal Email

I have created two forms for a client (contact us and join our mailing list). Both forms have Universal Email on them and I have myself listed in the BCC of the submission. I am getting the submissions but my client, who is listed as the recipient is not getting them. Can you please take a look and tell me what is wrong. Thanks so much for the help.

If you are getting the BCC, that means the email is sending. Most likely he isn't receiving it because of his spam settings. The new version of Universal Email in DataBridge v2 could improve deliver-ability, but a good place to start would be to use this site: https://www.mail-tester.com/

You can use it to test your email and tell you why some spam checkers may block it.

Thanks Ray! I turned his spam settings off and attempted to send a form submission through. I got it (I'm the BCC) but I'm not seeing it come through to him. This is a GoDaddy email (came with his hosting), do you think I should be calling them? I have sent him an email separately (not a form submission) and he gets it just fine. I have his email (jim@clutchhitters.com) sending a copy to an @aol account, neither one is getting it when it's a form submission but will get an email I send directly to jim@clutchhitters.com Strange but I wonder if GoDaddy has some kind of restriction or something???

What do you have the FROM set to? Google, AOL, and Hotmail are notorious for their strict spam standards. Did you use the link I provided above to analyze the email? You may need to set up SPF records and DKIM on the server in order to get it to deliver to those accounts. Use the service provided by www.mail-tester.com.
